Geneva City Break
Geneva is without a doubt the perfect destination for an invigorating city break: make the most of exceptional culture, shopping, delicious treats and much more in the city’s soothing atmosphere. Here is a selection of its many must-dos!
With a view
Head over to Rooftop 42 for aperitifs with an exceptional view over Geneva’s harbour. The cocktail menu features a number of revisited classics as well as brand-new creations by the mixologists behind the bar. Depending on the time of day, the ambiance will vary… right up until two in the morning, after one of the establishment’s many great evening events!

Sweet and savoury
In yet another collaboration with Parisian company Ladurée, India Madhavi designed the brand’s restaurant on Quai des Bergues in the style of a cute sweet-box: chequered floor, pastel colours and velvet in every corner. After your shopping session along Rue du Rhône, come and enjoy a seasonal lunch menu by the edge of Lake Léman, rounded off with one of the company’s legendary macaroons.

Walk down the second most expensive street in Switzerland to find a myriad of watch and jewellery makers’ boutiques (Audemars Piguet, Adler, Graff, Breguet and more) and the biggest names in haute-couture (Dior, Gucci and Louis Vuitton): you have now experienced the most prestigious stretch in the elegant city of Geneva. Wonder down Passage Malbuisson and experience a spectacle of clock-making. In 1962, watchmaker Edouard Wirth created a special mechanical procession: every hour, 42 bronze characters pop out of a clock to the tinkling of bells… a truly magical sight!
Since 2011, Le Bal des Créateurs is a must when it comes to Geneva’s cultural life: it features a fabulous library, a 150m² art gallery, a hair salon, an art boutique focusing on young creators and of course, a daytime bar.
